 ...NO.

This barn is awesome. Can I book my wedding, reunion, reherasal or other event here?

We’re sorry. This barn is only open to music shows put on by Codfish Hollow Barnstormers. We do not rent out the barn.

No. It is a barn. We have fans for when it is hot, please bundle up when it is not.

Currently all shows are All Ages.  Everyone ages 6 and over needs a ticket to attend. Keep in mind that we do not control all stage banter or language of the performers. You must use your best judgement in bringing your children along. We cannot be held responsible if your children see or hear things you are uncomfortable with them seeing or hearing.

You must bring a photo ID if you would like to purchase alcohol. Cash only, we do not accept credit/debit cards or checks.

NO !!! But you can smoke on the grounds. We kindly ask you to just stay away from the barns / anything flammable when you do it!

No. Cash only. There is an ATM at the barn but sometimes the internet is spotty. Best to bring cash.

Our barnstorming season typically runs from April thru October. The barn is closed in the winter months. Sometimes during the winter, we have “Basementstormers” which are located in the basement of our home where there is heat, rather than in the barn.

You can be sure to never miss knowing when an upcoming show is taking place by signing up for our mailing list!

We are located 4-1/2 miles Northeast of Maquoketa, Iowa on Codfish Hollow Road.

DIRECTIONS TO THE BARN:
Get to Maquoketa… From there take Highway 62 north towards Andrew (out by the Fairgrounds). Turn right about a half mile out of town onto 35th Street/Codfish Hollow Road. After about 2-1/2 miles it turns to gravel… keep going, watch out for animals. Turn left at 288th Ave.

Are there any rideshare services in the area?

Unfortunately, due to our rural location, there is  not currently any local Lyft, Uber, taxi or other rideshare services in the Maquoketa area .

Are there any hotels in the area?

Yes! We recommend The Decker House Hotel, as well as AmericInn by Windham and EconoLodge , all located in Maquoketa. If you are looking for a more rural setting,  we suggest Whispering Meadows Resort, near Spragueville/ Springbrook.

It's hot and I'm thirsty. I brought my own water bottle. Can I bring it in?

You may use your water bottle in the camping/ parking area, but NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK is allowed through the gate. You can purchase bottled water for $1 a bottle at the barn.

I arrived early. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVE THIS BAND. Can I get into the venue grounds before doors?

NO!  No one past the gates before the stated DOOR TIME.  If you come out early to set up camp or tailgate or look for cow pies or whatever, PLEASE  REMAIN IN THE PARKING LOT/ CAMPGROUND AREA.

Do not hang out in the road.

Do not walk down to the ticket area.

Do not sit in the ditch.

Do not try to come to the barn.   This is SO UNCOOL .

Our staff and or security WILL REMOVE YOU.  We are busy getting ready for a show. This is for YOUR and OUR and THE PERFORMERS' SAFETY!  We KNOW you are excited to see the show. So are we! To make the show run smoothly, please follow the rules and remain in the parking lot/ camping area/ cow pasture until door time. Thank you !

You can contact us for a refund. We may be able to refund you in certain circumstances.

(PLEASE NOTE: Showslinger and credit card processing fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. It says this clearly on the link you used to purchase the tickets. )

TRANSFERRING/ SELLING TICKETS

Please email us with:

1. The show you are referring to.

2. YOUR name and  the email you used to purchase the tickets.

3.The number of tickets YOU wish to transfer.

4. The NEW name and email you would like the tickets transferred to.

This way , it is less hassle at the gate and the new ticket owners can be notified by email of any changes to the schedule or information about the show.  It's easiest for everyone this way.

Unfortunately, when a show sells out in advance there are no tickets left at all. We always highly recommend getting tickets in advance on our website to avoid being shut-out of a show you want to see. You can also click on the link of the show you want to attend and sign up for the waiting list. Please remember: When tickets are refunded by request, they immediately become available for purchase via Showslinger. Often, it is only a couple tickets that become available. Anyone who has signed up to be notified receives the email at the same time. If the link shows SOLD OUT, it means someone else has already purchased the tickets.

I see that there are "people" selling tickets on Facebook/ online for the sold out show I want to attend. Should I buy tickets from them?

NO! Please do not purchase tickets from "people" (BOTS) on Facebook. Please do not purchase tickets from third-party sites such as : Ticketmaster or StubHub or Vivid or Lysted or Seatgeek or Ticketswap or etc. etc....

ONLY BUY FROM US. We use Showslinger.

Note : Sometimes bands or artists use a third-party seller for their Artist Presale tickets. This is fine, as long as we announce that there is a presale and it is sold through the artist or band.

If you buy from a third-party seller, most times those tickets are FAKE. You will not be allowed through the gate with fake tickets. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure that you only buy directly from us (Showslinger) or someone you KNOW and TRUST.

I bought tickets. I'm coming to a show. How do I check in at the gate?

WILL CALL AND PRINTED TICKETS

All attendees MUST present a valid photo ID to check in at the gate and to receive the wristband indicating under/over the age of 21. You can present either printed tickets or a screenshot of your tickets along with your ID. Please have all of this ready to go and the wait will be easier on everyone. Remember: This is a HOLLOW, so cell phone reception is gloriously unreliable. Grab a screenshot of your tickets BEFORE you arrive at the gate. THANK YOU!
